Our Client, a leading offshore Engineering and Fabrication Company, operating a marine fabrication yard in Batam, is inviting applications from suitably qualified INDONESIAN candidates to fill in a vacancy at BATAM for:
A. IT TECHNICIAN (Job Code: 2779)
Qualifications and skills required:
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science or information systems.
- At least 1-2 years work experience in a Help Desk, support or call center environment is required
- Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure (certification not essential but an added advantage)
- With some IT related technical certifications
B. PRINCIPAL MATERIALS SPECIALIST (Job Code: 2807 )
Job Description:
- Ensure ongoing adherence to material handling and storage in accordance with procedures.
- Proactively drive efficiencies in the warehouse whilst ensuring high service levels are maintained
- Identify opportunities for business process improvements and develop strategies to implement these improvements
- Perform regular checks of warehouse facilities, operational methods and systems and service level issues, implement improvement strategies to amend these and defined supply chain initiatives
- Focus on DIFOT improvement in line with the company benchmark
- Developing the assigned annual operating budget, monitor budgeted performance to ensure adherence to budget, identify variances and implements cost reduction strategies when required

- Posses Undergraduate Degree and/or possess relevant experience
- Authorized to carry out Warehousing activities for the yard
- Oversee, administer, manage and coordinate all warehousing function and material control in accordance with Corporate requirements and approved procedures

C. APPLICATION TEST SPECIALIST (Job Code: 2724 )
The Test Execution Specialist is a hands-on role that requires strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools. Using in-depth analysis and test execution skills, you'll work directly with business and IT organization to develop and execute test plans and test cases for multiple small to medium size projects. You will support unit testing, integration testing, user-acceptance testing, and security role testing. Your responsibility includes analyzing business requirements, executing test cases, troubleshooting test cases, and producing defect and status logs.
Role will support the global application implementation, requiring interaction with global teams, e.g. in Houston, Dubai, Singapore, etc.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree or related area or equivalent
Qualifications:
- Good written and communication skills in English ( TOEFL score > 500 is preferred)
- Have a knowledge of PL/SQL is preferred
- Strong technical and communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- An understanding of the SDLC as well as a good understanding of the various phases of software testing is required.
- Previous software testing experience using HP tools is preferred
